Noelle O’Sullivan

Event Description

Delighted to announce that Noelle O’Sullivan is debuting in Mike the Pies on Thursday, 22nd January 2026.  A night you don’t want to miss.

Alternative folk artist Noelle O’Sullivan is set to release her second single ‘Bog Cotton’ on the 9th of January 2026, from her highly anticipated sophomore album ‘Rolling on the Inside’. The single has garnered note-worthy attention from the award-winning Dublin based music licensing agency Avant Music Port (British Independent Film Award for best music supervision for the feature film Kneecap).

A poignant tribute to her late father, Roger O’Sullivan from Glin, Co. Limerick, a renowned singer and fiddle player, ‘Bog Cotton’ was written and performed by O’Sullivan after he sadly passed away in April 2025. Produced by Brian Casey at Wavefield Recording Studio, Cork, the single highlights the sincerity and depth of emotion she conveys while depicting a deep connection with her father and a vivid, almost mystical comparison with the landscape and human nature. The last section includes a short, jovial conversation between O’Sullivan and her late father as the alluring sound of Lily Munday’s fiddle fades into the distance.

Her upcoming album ‘Rolling on the Inside’, comprising of eleven tracks and featuring Brian Casey on electric guitars, bass and keyboards, Anthony Noonan on drums and percussion and Lily Munday on fiddle, will be released on the 16th of January 2026 and promises to further solidify her reputation as one of Ireland’s most compelling alternative folk voices. To mark the release, Noelle will perform in Mike the Pies with a full band on the 22nd of January. A show not to be missed.
