Delighted to announce that The Frank and Walters are returning to Mike the Pies on Saturday 24th October 2026, celebrating their 30th anniversary tour. A night you don’t want to miss.
The Frank and Walters are an alternative rock band from Cork City, made up of Ashley Keating (Drums), Rory Murphy (Guitar) Cian Corbett (Keys), and Paul Linehan (Vocals and Bass). Two decades on from the release of their very first record, Indie hits such as ‘Fashion Crisis Hits New York’ & ‘After All’ and sell-out gig not just in Ireland /UK but all over the world. These boys are relevant as any of the new pretenders on the block today.
Featuring timeless indie classics such as ‘Colours’, ‘Indian Ocean’, ‘How Can I Exist?’ and ‘Tony Cochrane’, The Frank & Walters seminal album Grand Parade is set to enjoy its first release on vinyl, supported by a tour that will celebrate the album’s 30th year.
Grand Parade was the follow-up to their debut, Trains, Boats and Planes, which saw the band gate crash the UK charts with tracks like ‘After All’ and cement their place as one of Ireland’s most popular and influential bands.
Continuously releasing music over the years, a new Franks’ renaissance began with the release of ‘Indie Love Song’ in 2012 and the band’s subsequent album, Greenwich Mean Time. Remaining firm favourites on the UK and European touring and festival scene, The Frank & Walters released their seventh album Songs for the Walking Wounded four years later, featuring a collaboration with now-Oscar winning actor, Cillian Murphy, on the poignant single, ‘Stages’.
Teaming up with renowned Scottish label Last Night From Glasgow, The Franks are set to re-release Grand Parade on June 30, 2026, on 3 colours of vinyl – Tangerine Vinyl, Bluebell Vinyl & Apple Green Vinyl.
