Folk Duo Ger O Donnell & Trevor Sexton now known as TRASNA, the most amazing duo to have come out of Ireland in recent times. They have individually been making waves on the folk scene worldwide, and are really exciting as a duo for the last few years. Ger, hailing from Co. Clare who is known for his distinctive vocal and highly individual guitar style has had several top 10 hits, including 6 recent Irish number 1 hits. Trevor from neighbouring Limerick has a tremendous vocal that is not to be missed. They play guitar, piano, double bass, banjo, bouzouki, bodhran and Irish whistles live. Their instrumental styles make this duo something special and excitingly complimentary. In the last couple of years they have worked with Dolores Keane, Paul Brady, Sean Keane, Mick Hanly, Sharon Shannon, Cherish the Ladies and countless others. Ger & Trevor started the year at the No.1 spot in the Irish charts with their song ‘Fairytale’.
